The proximity of the reception to the ground floor rooms means that there is a lot of noise in the morning and evening when guests enter and leave the hotel. not easy to sleep.

I feel the car parking was expensive, when paying 5* prices I would expect free parking. Spa looked lovely and I wanted to use it but having to book made me feel I couldn’t just use it when I was free. The gym was very small

The bar service was at times quite slow. We’d come down 45 mins before shuttle and sometimes didn’t get drinks until 10 mins before we needed to leave.

The pool needed more regular cleaning, it was quite windy and lots of debris in the pool, also the section between the jacuzzi and pool had yellow algae which should have been cleaned. The room was fabulous but the shower grout was in need of repair, let down the bathroom grandeur.
I mentioned to reception that the bus timetable we had been provided was 2022 and therefore the timings and prices were out of date (best to check before giving to guests). These are only observations which I felt need your attention, the hotel and staff were excellent!
